War Eagle Mill Fall Antique Craft Fair: 10/19 - 10/22 2023 Head on over to the Annual War Eagle Mill Fall Craft Fair.  Here, visitors can choose from a wide variety of handcrafted products displayed in over 250 booths outside. This craft fair takes place along the banks of the War Eagle River.


Local tip: since this happens outside, biring boots that you could wear if it is muddy in the fields.

The Ozark Regional Arts & Crafts Festivals: 10/19 - 10/21 2023 Now in their 33rd year - and 2 show locations an estimated 250,000 visitors will fly or make the drive beautiful to NW Arkansas. Here, craft shopping enthusiasts will find a diverse and unique display of holiday gifts, quality art, home spun crafts, home décor, fashion apparel, antiques, vintage and much, more, in 2 unique show locations.

An exciting magical adventure awaits, as the popular Witches Escape fundraiser returns in 2023! This year's event has been extended into two days (Friday, Oct. 6 and Saturday, Oct. 7), with unique experiences planned for each day.


Friday, October 6, 2023 Witches and wizards will first gather at the Eureka Springs Community Center to attend Boo University, where they will master the art of smudging, brush up on haunted history, meet some not-so-frightening familiars, learn the infamous Witches Dance, and more.


Saturday, October 7, 2023 Escape for a full day of “Witches Shopping Bingo” in the curious streets of downtown Eureka Springs, with fun costume and cackling contests, and a group performance of the Witches Dance in Basin Park. The night concludes with the Witches + Wizards Ball in the haunted underground level of the City Auditorium!

 

The Eureka Springs Historical Museum will host its annual “Voices from Eureka’s Silent City” cemetery walking tours. This event has been wildly popular each year and is a great way to experience the “living history” of Eureka Springs.  Actors in period costumes come alive in the cemetery and share stories of their unique and colorful pasts. This is a one-hour walking tour through the Eureka Springs' Cemetery and tours begin at 5:30pm lasting through 8:30pm. The Mad Hatter Ball: Friday, 10/20/2023

The magic of the Mad Hatter Ball returns to the Crescent Hotel on October 20th, 2023! This year’s Mad Hatter Ball theme is a nod to ESSA’s 25th Anniversary, or silver anniversary: “Hollywood: The Silver Screen.”


Be a part of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood with ESSA’s premiere event, The Mad Hatter Ball.


DJ TESTUBE will provide the beats as guests dance the night away in their finest flare. As always, a fabulous online and in-person auction will give attendees near and far the opportunity to take home magnificent works of art, craft, gift certificates, and more… all supporting the Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA.) Stars and starlets attending the live event can wet their whistles at the Crescent Hotel’s full bar and enjoy a fabulous pasta buffet with delicious desserts.


Taking place at the 1886 Crescent Hotel, this event is an annual sell-out experience, so get your tickets here.

 

Eureka's own Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge will host a Dog Costume Contest at Bentonville Brewing Company from 1pm - 4pm on October 21, 2023. Proceeds to support "the big cats."

 

I Haunt You

Like all Melonlight Productions, I Haunt You is an original play like no other. This elegant ghost story is a two-hour seated entertainment experience, embellished with magnetic dancing, marvelous costumes, and of course, a bit of fright.


This daring stage performance features only two actors telling the suspenseful stories of three different couples. The show features fabulous lighting, an incredible soundscape and a story that captivates audiences inside the historic white walls of the Melonlight Ballroom in downtown Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

 

The Eureka Springs Zombie Crawl: Saturday, October 28, 2023. Get your tickets and invite your friends, and by golly be sure to book your hotel NOW because on the evening of Saturday, October 28, 2023 our mountain town turns downtown into a Zombie invasion. This parade draws of hundreds upon hundreds of visitors to Eureka Springs as hungry brain-eating zombies make their annual descent down Spring Street. It is really something to see and experience.
