Eureka Springs isn’t just a place, it’s a feeling, a mood, a state of mind. Like many of her inhabitants, Eureka Springs is a living, breathing character, full of quirks, charm, natural beauty and joy, with a soul that invites you to linger a little longer, explore a little deeper.

Strolling through the winding streets feels like stepping into a storybook. The Victorian architecture, each building lovingly preserved, tells tales of a bygone era, while the whispers of history seem to float on the cool Ozark breeze. But there’s nothing stagnant about this town. Eureka Springs is alive, constantly reinventing itself in the most delightfully unexpected ways.
Life in this quirky little corner of Arkansas stretches out like a lazy afternoon. No rush. No fuss. Just ... being.
And isn’t that the point? To be one with your soul.
What is soul?
It’s not just some essence floating about. Soul is the spark, the energy, the heartbeat of space. It’s what makes us feel alive. And speaking of soul, let me introduce you to a place that has it in spades: Missy’s White Rabbit Lounge.
When Missy’s opened her doors on September 13, 2019, the energy was electric. Locals and visitors flooded the space, and you could almost hear the walls sigh with relief as the soul rushed back into a space that previously lost its spark and soul.

In 2019, Missy and John Harwood entered this elusive little rabbit hole and the rest is history. This dynamic duo didn’t just renovate the space; they resurrected it.
Now, Missy’s White Rabbit Lounge isn’t just a bar. It’s a vibe. A place where live music bellows, the jukebox is always spinning, the cocktails are dangerously good, and the soul of Eureka Springs practically hums in the air.
It's a place that earned the reputation as a "must visit spot" when you come to Eureka Springs for your next visit, and every visit.
On opening day, The Laurel Canyon Raiders (a.k.a. The Bad Jacksons) kicked off the festivities, setting the tone for a place that was instantly beloved and flash forward to New Year's Eve, 12/31/2024, the Bad Jacksons rang in another incredible evening of live music and energy kicking off the New Year and the next chapter for Missy's White Rabbit Lounge as all involved reflect on the wild ride of "the first five years" which was all about social distancing, vaccines, masks, no dancing and limited capacities ... into the next five years ... and onward.
The Best Is Yet To Come!

Whimsical Wonders Around Every Corner
Before (or after) your visit to Missy’s White Rabbit Lounge, let the town work its magic on you. Right outside the front door of the lounge, you’ll find the famous Rainbow Stairs. Painted in vibrant hues, these stairs are more than a walkway, they’re a celebration of art, inclusivity, community and joy. Snap a photo, strike a pose, or just stand there for a moment and take it all in.
From there, wander down Spring Street, where every shop and gallery feels like it was plucked from the imagination of an eccentric artist. Whether it’s the delicate handmade jewelry at Quicksilver Gallery or the eclectic mix of antiques and oddities at Zark's, you’re bound to find something that speaks to your soul.

Take a hike through the lush trails of Lake Leatherwood City Park, where you’ll find serene lake views, towering pines, and perhaps even a sense of clarity you didn’t know you were searching for. Or head to the Blue Spring Heritage Center, where the turquoise waters seem to hold the secrets of the earth itself.
And let’s not forget Thorncrown Chapel. This architectural masterpiece is a sanctuary for the soul, a place where light, glass, and nature come together in perfect harmony. Whether you’re there to reflect, pray, or simply admire, it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

Eureka Springs isn’t about rushing from one attraction to the next. It’s about letting go of the need to “do” and embracing the art of simply being. Sit on a bench downtown and watch the world go by. Listen to the street performers serenading passersby. Chat with a local who will inevitably share a story that makes you smile.
And when the day winds down, find yourself at one of the town’s cozy bed-and-breakfasts or boutique hotels. The Crescent Hotel, with its storied past and stunning views, is a favorite. If you’re feeling brave, you might even join one of their ghost tours.
After you explore the streets, meets, greets and eats, let Missy's energy pull you in. The Ozarks cradle Eureka Springs, offering endless opportunities to connect with the great outdoors and with your soul. Missy's White Rabbit Lounge has evolved into a place that is so very Eurekan. You will have to check it out for yourself to feel the vibes.
It's time!
