Jeepin’ Jehoshaphat!

2nd Annual Eureka Springs' Jeep Jam | September 15 - 18th, 2022.

Four full days of Jeep action in Eureka Springs! Jeep show, awards, downtown Eureka parade, raffles, on/off road trail rides by Backroads Mafia, cool vendors, award winning food & more … all of this action will benefit a great cause: Peterson Outdoors Ministries. (POM)

The first annual JEEP JAM event, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 2021 made some of following possible for VETERANS and FIRST RESPONDERS through registration, donations and attendance from last year.

This family of loyal, dedicated JEEPERS raised over $40K for POM where 100% (WOW!) of those proceeds going directly to POM - www.PetersonOutdoors.org so that they can accomplish some incredible things.

Here is what these dedicated jeepers helped to achieve as a result of the First Annual Jeep Jam ...

  • Hosted 9 Military Chaplains and their families for a 3 day Turkey Hunt and Retreat. Monies helped with travel expenses for the Military Chaplains and their families, licenses purchased, food, lodging, activities, and utilities.

  • Amputee Day at Lodge of Hope where they hosted about 50 Amputees and their family members. Expenses that were covered included food and costs for activities.

  • First Responder Retreat where POM hosted First Responders from California, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri for a 3-day retreat and appreciation day for First Responders and their families. Travel expenses were covered for First Responders, speakers, food, lodging, lots of activities (Axe Throwing, Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Build a Bear, Boat rides) and utilities.

  • Festival of Hope - this yearly event invites the public to see Lodge of Hope and participate with families in a day of fun, food, activities, banquet, auction, and more. Monies raised by Jeep Jam helped make this event possible by covering all expenses. Several hundred people attended including many veterans and their families from around the 4 state area. Monies helped purchase the two big tent rentals, travel expenses, materials costs, food, etc.

  • Heroes Hunting For Hope Veterans Deer Hunt - 9 veterans and several spouses were hosted at Lodge of Hope. They came from 6 different states and all travel expenses, food, lodging, licenses, utilities were covered.

  • At Whistling Wings Veterans Waterfowl Hunt, all travel expenses and hunting licenses for 6 veterans from several states - completely covered.

  • At the Nashville House, POM was able to help update the wheel chair accessibility by putting in a wheelchair ramp and deck allowing better access for veterans with disabilities.

Those are just a few of the big, impactful events that were accomplished. There were numerous smaller events where veterans and their families were hosted at the Lodge of Hope as well. There are also fishing events that occur several times a month.

Incredible stuff, my friends! Well done!!!

The Jeep Jam, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, celebrates an iconic vehicle that dates back to the United States’ run-up to WWII. Fun fact: The first civilian Jeep brand was the 1945 CJ-2A, marketed as the “All Around Farm Work-Horse.”

Friday, Sept. 17, 2022 featured a full day of off-roading at Rush Spring Ranch in Pineville, MO, (45 miles west of Eureka Springs.) That was followed by a registration and meet-and-greet at the Rockin’ Pig Saloon.

Also on Saturday, September 17, 2022, it was the Jeep show and contest at the Great Passion Play grounds, followed by a cruise/parade through Historic Downtown Eureka Springs which started at 2:00pm. The festivities continued at 6 p.m. for the Jeep Music Jam at The Cathouse Lounge. Event registration for participants cost = $50; free for spectators.

Huge thanks to EVERYONE involved in these first two JEEP JAM events!!! The money raised has allowed for some incredible work to be accomplished for POM -- and especially for our Veterans and First Responders. ❤️ We're looking forward to an even BIGGER 3rd Annual Jeep Jam in 2023.
