If you are looking for a great place to make memories with your family, look no further than our charming, beloved Eureka Springs nestled right here in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas!
Each year, beginning in late November and running all through the month of December, we do it up big! Innkeepers, merchants, hotels, taverns, restaurants, galleries and shops come alive with the holiday spirit.
With nostalgia in the air, shoppers come to Eureka Springs from miles around for that magical feeling of being transported back in time to a storybook Christmas.
Eureka Springs during the holiday season is a truly special place to be.
People have often stated that during the holiday season Eureka Springs looks like a real-life movie set from days of yesteryear.
This is because locals deck the halls with thousands of colorful lights and everyone in town gets into the holiday spirit. The buildings all over the historic district are illuminated and shopkeepers are well-stocked with unique treasures, gifts and collectibles.
Since the events of 2020 globally postponed life on Earth, it is very exciting to see that the 2021 Holiday Season is ready to spike the eggnog again.
Tell your family and friends to avoid the hustle-and-bustle in those big city shopping malls, and find your way to a small-town Christmas experience. There's absolutely nothing like the feeling of finding that one-of-a-kind gift that isn't sold in mainstream stores.
Instead, find Main Street and ditch the mainstream. You will not be disappointed and you will likely find that your family and friends enjoy the experience as well.
With many visitors annually, Eureka Springs business owners and shopkeepers are well-prepared and happy to serve. Winter activities come alive all across town and the experience becomes joy-filled merriment for the whole family.
SHOP SMALL
The season kicks-off each year with Shop Small Saturday. The Saturday after Thanksgiving comes alive when shoppers gather at Basin Park, meet with some of the merchants and obtain their shopping bag filled with coupons, deals and goodies and then they hit the streets and start shopping in all the small shops around town.
Most holiday season's our weather will chill down and become a bit more brisk, but rest assured, it rarely gets bone-chilling cold here. November’s average high is 60 degrees, December’s is 50.
